In the afternoon of February 11, General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and the Central working delegation visited and presented gifts on the occasion of Binh Ngo Tet 2026 in Quang Tri province.
The delegation included Mr. Tran Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central organizations and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.


The working delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families, poor households and workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in the area.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, General Nguyen Trong Nghia acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and forces in Quang Tri province in implementing socio-economic development tasks, taking care of social security and ensuring national defense and security.
Taking care of policy families, poor households and workers in difficult circumstances during Tet is not only a deeply humane activity but also reflects the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source", the spirit of national solidarity and sharing.

On this occasion, the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented meaningful gifts to 100 policy families and typical people with meritorious services; 400 poor households and 300 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances.
In the program, the delegation presented gifts to 10 policy households, typical people with meritorious services, 10 poor households and 10 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances, the rest were assigned to the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial Labor Federation to organize the presentation of gifts to the remaining households.
Expressing emotion when receiving Tet gifts from the Central working delegation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, a worker at Quang Binh Urban Environment and Development Joint Stock Company, shared: "Our work is associated with urban environmental sanitation, so whether it is on weekdays or holidays, Tet must be maintained regularly. The timely attention and encouragement of Party and State leaders and levels is a great source of motivation for us to feel secure in our work, complete our tasks well, and contribute to maintaining a clean and beautiful urban landscape to serve the people.
The activity shows the concern of Party, State, and Army leaders for the people and workers of Quang Tri province, contributing to encouraging policy families, poor households and workers to celebrate Binh Ngo Tet 2026 joyfully and warmly.
