General Phan Van Giang always respects and listens to collective opinions; is close and caring for the material and spiritual life of officers, soldiers and the army's rear; always builds and strengthens internal solidarity, and resolves well working relationships with central and local departments, ministries, and branches, with high prestige for the Party, State, People and the entire army.
General Phan Van Giang has good health, sharp thinking, strategic vision, comprehensive knowledge of military, national defense, culture, society; has rich theory and practical experience in the management, command, and operation of the Army.
As a cadre who was basically trained and matured in combat, study and work practice; assigned by the Party, State, and Army to hold many important positions, in all working positions, he always excellently completed all assigned tasks, making many important contributions to the cause of building the Army, consolidating national defense and security, and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

At the conference, 100% of voters voted unanimously to introduce General Phan Van Giang to participate in the election of National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term.
