On the morning of August 26, at the headquarters of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense attended and awarded the 80-year Party Badge, phase 2, September 2026 to party members in the province.
Attending the ceremony were leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, leaders of Thai Nguyen province and representatives of agencies, units and families of party members awarded badges.
General Phan Van Giang awarded badges, certificates, flowers and gifts to 2 party members: Comrade Nguyen Quang Tham, Party Cell of hamlet 8, Dong Hy Commune Party Committee and Comrade Nguyen Dinh Luu, Party Cell of residential group 13, Linh Son Ward Party Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Phan Van Giang affirmed that the 80-year Party Badge is a noble reward, recognizing the process of striving, training and contributions of veteran Party members to the revolutionary cause.
This is not only an honor for individuals but also a source of pride for families, hometowns, and local Party organizations and authorities.
General Phan Van Giang requested Party committees and authorities at all levels to continue to pay attention to and care for the material and spiritual lives of veteran Party members; respectfully listen to and absorb the valuable opinions and experiences of the comrades.
On the same day, the working delegation presented the 80-year Party Badge to the families of 2 party members: Comrade Nguyen Quang Nam, Hoang Dam Party Cell, Van Xuan Ward Party Committee and Comrade Pham Dinh Luong, Chien Thang Party Cell, Phu Thong Commune Party Committee.
