On the afternoon of July 25, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense - and the Central working delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families in Nhan Co commune, Lam Dong province.
Participating in the working delegation was Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.
General Phan Van Giang and the working delegation visited the family of Mr. Truong Van Truong - 61% sick soldier, who was captured and imprisoned by the enemy and Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan - 25% wounded soldier; the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Su, who is worshiping two martyrs Nguyen Huu The and Nguyen Van Tin; and Ms. Dinh Thi Be - relative of Vietnamese Heroic Mother.
In the warm atmosphere of the July days of gratitude, General Phan Van Giang cordially inquired about the health and life of the families.
Through this, expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution for the independence and freedom of the nation.
The General hoped that families would continue to promote revolutionary traditions, educate their children and grandchildren to follow the example of previous generations, actively study, work, and contribute to building their homeland and country to become increasingly rich and strong.
On this occasion, General Phan Van Giang presented gifts from the Party and State to policy families, wounded soldiers, and sick soldiers as a tribute to their contributions and sacrifices for the Fatherland.
General Phan Van Giang also sent a message to the young generation of the locality to continue to promote the revolutionary tradition of their forefathers, strive to study and train, and join hands to build an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland and country.
The General also requested the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province to continue to pay attention to effectively implementing policies for people with meritorious services, taking care of the material and spiritual lives of policy families, so that the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude" is always preserved and spread in the community.
