Dak Nong has just suspended 2 projects to build commune-level headquarters due to the merger of administrative units.

On May 11, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch on the implementation of new construction, renovation, repair and upgrading of headquarters of administrative agencies and units affected by the merger of administrative units at all levels in the area.

Accordingly, Dak Nong province decided to temporarily suspend 2 projects to build commune-level headquarters including: Headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council and People's Committee of Thuan Hanh commune (Dak Song district) and Headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Dak Ha commune (Dak Glong). The investor is responsible for preserving the property.

According to research, the project to build the headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council and People's Committee of Thuan Hanh commune was granted the authority to decide on investment in 2021. The total investment for this project is 8 billion VND from the local budget.

The project to build the headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Dak Ha commune was decided to be invested in 2020. The total investment is 14.5 billion VND from the local budget.

Dak Nong province continues to complete the project of the Headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dao Nghia commune (Dak R'lap). This project has an investment decision in 2021. The total investment is 15 billion VND from the local budget.

For completed projects, the Provincial People's Committee requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and cities to carry out payment and settlement procedures according to regulations.

For district budget projects, the Chairman of the People's Committees of districts and cities decides to stop or continue implementing works and projects depending on their authority and ensure compliance with legal regulations, avoiding waste and loss.
