Mass mobilization contributes to completing the political tasks of the Capital
As the Capital Party Committee, the largest Party Committee in the country, over the years, the Hanoi Party Committee has always been deeply aware of the honor and pride, along with the glorious responsibility in leading and directing the construction and development of Hanoi worthy of its role as the Capital, the heart of the whole country.
Promoting the tradition of solidarity, close attachment to the people, and relying on the people to build the Party, the Hanoi Party Committee has led and directed the extensive implementation of the emulation movement of skillful mass mobilization, attracting the participation and response of a large number of cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life, becoming a unique feature in the mass mobilization work of the Capital Party Committee.
Over the past 15 years, the emulation movement for skillful mass mobilization has been widely deployed in Hanoi with an average of more than 10,000 models registered for implementation each year, contributing significantly to the completion of the capital's political tasks.
The emulation movement of skillful mass mobilization has also been effective in solving new, difficult, and unprecedented problems in the capital.
In implementing key projects, especially the Investment Project for the Construction of Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region, the mass mobilization work has been proactive, active, and early, from the beginning, with many effective and creative methods. Within one year, over 90% of the area to be recovered has been cleared, contributing to the project's on-schedule commencement.
In mid-September 2024, in responding to and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 (Yagi), the city's civil service system played a pivotal role in propagating, mobilizing, and helping people prevent and fight floods, move fallen trees, clean up the environment, and evacuate people and property from dangerous areas.
Thereby, it has contributed to promoting the fine cultural traditions of Hanoi people; mobilizing enormous resources from the strength and consensus and support of the people, creating an important driving force for Hanoi to develop sustainably.
Implementing the direction of the Hanoi Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee on implementing mass mobilization work to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, the Party committees and authorities of communes and towns in Quoc Oai district have directed the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations at the same level, and people of all walks of life in the area to proactively participate in overcoming the consequences of storms and storms and environmental sanitation.
At the same time, support people to move livestock, poultry, and move flooded households to safe places. These are very meaningful and responsible activities of the mass mobilization system in the district to join hands with people in the face of the impact of storm No. 3.

Key, regular tasks
Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong said that storm No. 3 and its aftermath have caused damage to infrastructure, trees, and the environment, causing flooding in some localities, greatly affecting people's lives in the capital.
Under the close and timely leadership of the Hanoi Party Committee, with the spirit of "putting people's safety first", the entire city's political system actively participated in and proactively responded to the storm, minimizing property damage, ensuring safety and caring for people's lives, and performing well in social security work.
Promoting the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, "love others as you love yourself", "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City promptly called on the people of the capital to share and help spiritually and materially, contributing together with the Party committees and authorities at all levels to quickly restore production and ensure people's lives.
Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong emphasized that the time when the storm subsides and the water recedes is also the time when the people of the capital have to face environmental pollution due to the remaining waste, which poses many risks of disease outbreaks.
To ensure the stability of people's lives, with the consent of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City organized a ceremony to launch an environmental sanitation campaign to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City has called on agencies, units, member organizations, households and people to participate in cleaning up, ensuring environmental sanitation, collecting broken and fallen trees; clearing sewers, ditches and canals; collecting waste, spraying disinfectants to prevent and control epidemics.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City also requested religious organizations in the capital to propagate and mobilize believers, followers, Buddhists, and religious people to participate in cleaning up places of worship and residences, and join local people in cleaning village roads, alleys, residential areas, and neighborhoods.
Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Do Anh Tuan emphasized that, closely following the key political tasks of the capital, the emulation movement of skillful mass mobilization in the Hanoi Party Committee will continue to be widely deployed in all areas of social life.
Skillful mass mobilization is also identified as a key, regular task in mass mobilization work, especially for complex emerging issues, new tasks, difficult tasks... and is implemented synchronously, early, from the beginning, with the participation and close coordination of the entire political system.
In particular, further promote the role of more than 5,000 mass mobilization groups in participating in tasks of ensuring order, urban and rural civilization, and a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environment...
Along with building new models and examples of skillful mass mobilization, Hanoi continues to pay attention to maintaining the effectiveness, replicating and promoting existing models and examples.
