On August 6, information from the Department of Motorbikes - Transport (General Department of Logistics - Engineering) said that the unit had just organized a mobile training course on vehicles performing the parade and martyrs' parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (mission A80) at Ba Dinh Square. This activity took place on the evening of August 5.
Major General Phung Ngoc Son - Deputy Director and Chief of Staff of the General Department of Logistics - Engineering Command. Major General Nguyen Que Lam - Director of the Department of Motorbikes - Transport - commanded the training.
The training subjects include officers, driving teams; military and police artillery vehicles; technical means. The training content includes: training on all aspects of logistics and techniques; unifying command, operation, coordination, and ensuring force mobility.
According to the plan, the mobile military artillery forces from the stationed positions will go to the F1 racetrack, the Command and Mobile Schools will follow the parade route; then move to the stationed positions.
The artillery forces have completed their formation, completed preparations at the National Military Training Center 4 and started mobilizing at 8:30 p.m.
The mobile force is organized into teams, including: Block 1 is chain-cacked vehicles, armored vehicles, artillery; Block 2 is tire-cacked fireworks; Block 3 is police special forces vehicles. Mobilize in a vertical formation.
Training work is expected to include situations such as: Vehicles encountering technical problems on the mobile road; traffic congestion; mobile process if there is unsafe traffic. From there, there are plans to handle the above situations.
The practical training work aims to help officers and drivers grasp the mobile routes; unify the command and operation of ensuring vehicle - engine techniques, increase armament from the military station to the training, preliminary and final approval deployment position, performing official tasks of A80 at Ba Dinh. At the same time, check the entire traffic system on the route (width, height, load...).
