On the evening of June 21, the 19th National Press Awards Ceremony in 2024 took place in Hanoi. This activity coincides with the 100th Anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21,25 - June 21, 2025).

Speaking at the 19th National Press Awards Ceremony in 2024, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that, starting from Thanh Nien Newspaper founded by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc (June 21,25), throughout the 100-year history, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press has continuously developed and grown, affirming its role as a sharp and important political, cultural and ideological weapon, with the motto of all service to the country and the people, for the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and has made great contributions and dedication to the struggle for independence and freedom of the nation, national reunification and the cause of building and defending the beloved Fatherland of Vietnam.

According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the 19th National Press Award on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day with the spirit of "steel in pen, fire in heart" continues to prove the development, maturity, growth, comprehensiveness, and all aspects of Revolutionary Press, both in quantity and quality; with many creative press products, applying modern technology, effectively approaching the public; continuing to affirm it as a prestigious award, an important professional forum, contributing to improving professional qualifications and fueling the passion of the profession, courage, bravery, perseverance, dedication, dedication, and noble civil responsibility.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that in the journey of the nation's strong development, the Revolutionary Press plays a particularly important role, creating motivation, inspiring, arousing the desire for development, creating new, higher and greater values for the country; fueling the aspiration for a strong, prosperous, and humane Vietnam.

"This is a responsibility, an order of the times, a voice of the heart, of conscience and of Vietnamese human dignity for the team of revolutionary journalists" - the Prime Minister emphasized.

Always put iron faith and hope in the Revolutionary Press

The Prime Minister also requested the Revolutionary Press to pioneer in grasping and applying modern technology to improve communication efficiency; proactively transforming digital, developing multimedia journalism, making the most of the power of the internet, social networks, digital technology to bring positive, objective, accurate, accurate, and timely information to the public in the fastest and most effective way to contribute to building a healthy, humane media ecosystem, serving the people.

Revolutionary press must be an open, open, listening forum for people to express their thoughts, aspirations, give sincere comments, participate in monitoring and social criticism, so that the voice of the people is listened to and accepted, contributing to building a clean and strong political system, creating social consensus, and strengthening people's trust.

According to the Prime Minister, our country is entering a new era - the era of rising up to develop richly, civilizedly and prosperously for the Vietnamese people.
