The Central Military Commission Office has just issued Document No. 3202-TB/VPQU announcing the opinion of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee on assigning the task of civil training to educational institutions in the army.
In this Document, the Central Military Commission's Standing Committee assigned the task of training the civil system for 15 military educational institutions that are eligible for training from 2025.
These institutions include: Academy of Politics; Logistics Academy; Military Technical Academy; Military Medical Academy; Academy of Military Science (General Department II); School of Information Officers (Information and Communication Corps); Military University of Culture and Arts (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army); Logistics College 1; Logistics College 2 (General Department of Logistics - Engineering);
College of National Defense Industry (General Department of Defense Industry); Military Traditional Medicine Institute; Military History Institute (Vietnam People's Army General Staff); 108 Institute for Clinical Medical- philanthropic Science Research (Vietnam Central Military Hospital 108); Military-Technical Officers School (General Department of Logistics - Engineering); Military Science and Technology Institute (Vietnam People's Army General Staff).
Of which, the Military Medical Academy will recruit 630 students, civil students, from university to master's, doctoral, and doctoral students in specialties I and II.
For the undergraduate program, the Military Medical Academy will enroll 280 students in three majors: Medicine; pharmacy and preventive medicine. Of which, Medicine recruited 200 students, the remaining two majors each 40 students.
With a postgraduate training program and master's degree, the Military Medical Academy will recruit 80 students in 13 majors: Extrateraterrology; Internal Medicine; Biomedical Sciences; Infectious diseases and tropical diseases; electrocardiology and nuclear medicine; traditional medicine; preventive medicine; public medicine; ENT; neurology; obstetrics and gynecology; plastic surgery, reconstruction and cosmetic surgery; pharmaceutical technology and pharmaceutical combinations.
With a doctoral degree, the Military Medical Academy will recruit 50 students in 16 majors: Extraterrental Medicine; Internal Medicine; Biomedical Sciences; Infectious diseases and tropical diseases; cancer; traditional medicine; preventive medicine; health management; epidemiology; plastic surgery, reconstruction and cosmetic surgery; neurology; pharmacology and toxicology; pharmaceutical management organization; pharmaceutical technology and drug addiction; emergency resuscitation and anti-poisoning; anesthesia resus.
The remaining students are recruited by the Military Medical Academy as boarding doctors and specialists I and II.
On February 18, according to the Government's Electronic Information Portal, the Military Medical Academy recruited civil servants from 2002 to 2018, then stopped according to Resolution 19 of the Party Central Committee, in order to implement the policy of innovation and reorganization of military units.
In recent times, in the face of difficulties in high-quality resources, while military schools are qualified and have strengths in many industries, the Ministry of National Defense has developed a project to continue training high-quality human resources to serve industrialization and modernization from 2025.
