According to the Department of Training (Ministry of Public Security), this year's exam format and reference questions have been adjusted to suit the first batch of candidates graduating from the 2018 general education program.
In particular, the 2025 People's Public Security recruitment assessment exam will have 4 exam codes.
This year's exam consists of three parts: Compulsory essay, compulsory multiple choice and optional multiple choice. Candidates will take the test in 180 minutes in written form.
The total score of the test is 100 points. Of which, the essay part (required) is 25 points and the multiple choice part is 75 points.
Knowledge field, mandatory essay section: The test includes 1 (one) social essay question, with a maximum total score of 25 points.
Multiple choice section, total of 80 questions, maximum score is 75 points. Of which, 70% is grade 12 knowledge; 30% is grade 10, grade 11 knowledge. Questions at the knowledge and understanding level account for 30% of questions, application level accounts for 50% of questions, high application level accounts for 20% of questions.
Compulsory multiple choice section: Mathematics has 35 questions; maximum score is 35 points; History has 10 questions, maximum score is 10 points; Foreign Language (English) has 20 questions, maximum score is 15 points.
Optional multiple choice test: 15 questions, maximum score is 15 points. Candidates choose one of the following subjects: Physics (CA1), Chemistry (CA2), Biology (CA3), Geography (CA4).
2025 is the fourth year that the Ministry of Public Security organizes an exam as a basis for admission to police academies and schools.
