In President Ho Chi Minh's days of wandering to find a way to save the country, the revolutionary activity period in China was of great significance in the process of forming his ideology and the path of national salvation.
Cultural and historical expert Ta Sieu Duc said that President Ho Chi Minh had a long history of activities in China, associated with many localities such as Guangxi, Guangzhou and Yunnan. During this time, he both participated in revolutionary activities and took advantage of training forces and building a base for the Vietnamese national liberation movement.
In the context of the Vietnamese revolutionary movement being still young, patriotic youth Nguyen Ai Quoc had to live and operate in deprived conditions, moving continuously to avoid persecution, and at the same time secretly mobilizing and gathering forces.
Guangxi at that time was a place where many overseas Vietnamese and many Chinese revolutionary forces were concentrated. Here, President Ho Chi Minh connected with patriotic organizations, studied revolutionary theory and learned about the struggle experience of the Chinese revolutionary movement, thereby applying it to Vietnamese practice.
During this time, he participated in writing newspapers, compiling propaganda materials, spreading the ideology of national liberation and contributing to training cadres for the Vietnamese revolutionary movement. President Ho Chi Minh also focused on building solidarity in the overseas Vietnamese community, guiding safe participation in revolutionary activities, and at the same time upholding the view that "revolution must rely on the people", "all for national independence".
Sharing about the time President Ho Chi Minh stayed in Liuzhou (Guangxi), a tour guide at the Nanyang Memorial House of Li Jie Hotel said that during his activities here, he had many literary and poetic works, showing the spirit of resilience and will to overcome hardships in secret operating conditions. After that, he moved to work in Guangzhou, a place associated with many important activities such as organizing political and military training classes, and training core cadres for the Vietnamese revolution.
Mr. Ta Sieu Duc said that President Ho Chi Minh's activities in China not only made an important contribution to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause but also demonstrated the traditional friendship between the people of the two countries, which was formed and nurtured through many historical periods.
The footprints of President Ho Chi Minh's activities in China are considered a vivid proof of his perseverance, will to overcome difficulties and strategic vision on the journey to find a way to save the country, and at the same time contribute to deepening the Vietnam-China friendship.
