In April, the Government Inspectorate carried out a number of important tasks, specifically implementing the Conclusion of General Secretary To Lam on resolving cases of prolonged complaints and denunciations that exceeded the central level in Hanoi.
After the Inspection and settlement of complaints and denunciations in regions I, II, and III inspected and reviewed, the three Working Groups led by the Deputy Inspector General of the Government directly worked in localities to inspect, urge, guide, agree on a handling plan, resolve and prepare the content of the Prime Minister's Working Group's consultation.
The Central Citizen Reception Committee also urged localities to provide records and documents for 226 complaints and denunciations to send to the Central Inspection Committee upon request.
The Government Inspectorate advised the National Assembly for approval of the Inspection Law project (amended) at the 9th session; submit to the Government to draft the Decree guiding the implementation of the Inspection Law and the Decree defining the functions, tasks and organizational structure of the Government Inspectorate; Develop a draft stipulating the functions and tasks of the Departments, Departments and units.
In addition, a record has been signed to hand over and receive 12 Minister Inspectorates to the Government Inspectorate; develop a plan for use and arrangement of civil servants and public employees; implement a cadre policy due to arrangement and send the Project to ministries, branches and localities for dissemination and implementation.
Also in April, the Government Inspectorate conducted 21 inspections, of which 5 were issued inspection conclusions, 3 were prepared for issuance of conclusions, and 7 were preparing reports and draft conclusions.
At the same time, 6 reports to the Prime Minister on inspection results, monitoring results, and urging the implementation of inspection conclusions; synthesizing the implementation results of 5 inspection conclusions monitored by the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negative Affairs.
Speaking at the conference, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong requested relevant units to advise and implement the plan to arrange 12 civil servants of the Ministry Inspectorate, civil servants and public employees of the Government Inspectorate and arrange working headquarters, purchase of equipment for work to ensure tightness, economy and compliance with regulations.
Departments and branches assigned to preside over the inspection continue to implement the inspection plan for 2025; speed up the progress of issuing inspection conclusions, especially inspections assigned by the Steering Committee and the Prime Minister; enhance publicity, transparency, improve discipline, administrative discipline, and public ethics in inspection activities.
