The average rate of increase in social labor productivity reached about 7%/year in the period 2021 - 2030; of which the period 2026 - 2030 reached over 8.5%/year. The contribution of total factor productivity (TFP) to growth reached over 55%.
Potential, level of science, technology and innovation reach advanced levels in many important fields, belonging to the leading group in countries with high middle incomes.
Promote the advantages of each socio-economic region; focus on developing 2 driving regions in the North and South associated with 2 growth poles, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Along with that are the North-South economic corridor, Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic corridor, Moc Bai - Ho Chi Minh City - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau economic corridor with synchronous and modern infrastructure, with high growth rates, making a great contribution to the overall development of the country.

Developing Vietnam's education system to reach advanced levels in the region; belonging to the group of 10 countries with the best higher education systems in Asia.
Strive to have at least 8 higher education institutions in the top 200 universities in Asia, at least 1 higher education institution in the top 100 universities in the world in some fields according to prestigious international rankings.

The economy operates according to the methods of digital economy, green economy, circular economy; science, technology and innovation are the main growth drivers.
The Resolution also clearly states the vision for the period 2031 - 2050, striving for an average GDP growth rate of about 7.0 - 7.5%/year.
By 2050, per capita GDP at current prices will reach about 38,000 USD; urbanization rate will reach 70 - 75%; Human Development Index (HDI) will reach over 0.85...
