General Le Van Dung's real name is Nguyen Van Noi, his hometown is in Phong My commune, Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province (old). Before Dong Khoi, young man Nguyen Van Noi participated in secret work and was renamed Le Van Dung (also known as Bay Dung).
