Dien Bien establishes 3 National Assembly Deputy Election Boards

Dien Bien - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to establish 3 Election Boards for National Assembly Deputies of the XVI term.

Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong signed decisions to establish 3 National Assembly Deputy Election Boards of the XVI term at electoral units in the province.

Each Election Commission consists of 15 members, with tasks and powers according to the provisions of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies.

Specifically, the Committee for Election of National Assembly Deputies of the XVI term at Electoral Unit No. 1 (including wards: Dien Bien Phu, Muong Thanh and communes: Muong Phang, Thanh Nua, Thanh Yen, Sam Mun, Thanh An, Nua Ngam, Muong Nha, Pu Nhi, Na Son, Xa Dung, Muong Luan, Tia Dinh, Phinh Giang). Head of the Committee is Mr. Lo Van Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Election unit No. 2 (including Muong Lay ward and communes: Sin Thau, Muong Nhe, Muong Toong, Nam Ke, Quang Lam, Muong Cha, Na Hy, Na Bung, Si Pa Phin, Cha To, Muong Tung, Pa Ham, Na Sang, Nam Nen, Muong Pon). Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is the Head of the Committee.

Election unit No. 3 (including communes: Na Tau, Bung Lao, Muong Ang, Muong Lan, Muong Mun, Chieng Sinh, Pu Nhung, Tuan Giao, Quai To, Sin Chai, Sinh Phinh, Tua Thang, Tua Chua, Sang Nhe). The Head of the Committee is Ms. Cao Thi Tuyet Lan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Also related to election work, the Dien Bien Provincial Election Commission has issued Resolution No. 18/NQ-UBBC setting out the list of electoral units and the number of delegates to the 16th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.

Accordingly, Dien Bien province has a total of 11 units to elect delegates to the Provincial People's Council. The number of delegates elected in each unit is from 3-5 delegates.
