The Politburo approved Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province - to hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and appointed him to join the Party Committee of Military Region 4.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council considered removing Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet from his duties as a Provincial People's Council delegate and from his position as Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.
Previously, on July 10, 2024, the Politburo issued a decision to transfer and assign Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Council will consider dismissing and electing additional members of the Provincial People's Committee according to the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman.
