On the morning of October 3, at the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery (Rach Gia Ward), the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee solemnly organized a visiting delegation and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs and those who have contributed to the revolution, on the occasion of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Leading the delegation were comrade Nguyen Tien Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Ho Van Mung - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
Also attending were comrades from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, leaders of agencies, departments, unions and Heads of delegations of affiliated Party Committees.
In a solemn and touching atmosphere, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and delegates respectfully offered flowers, burned incense in memory, and took a moment to pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroes and martyrs - the outstanding children of An Giang and the whole country who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the cause of national reunification and the happiness of the People.
The ceremony not only demonstrates the morality of "Remembering the source of water when drinking", deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of generations of ancestors, but is also an opportunity for the entire Party Committee, government and people of An Giang to express their determination to continue promoting the heroic revolutionary tradition, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, the People and the socialist regime.
In the name of the heroic and martyrs, the Party Committee and People of An Giang pledged to unite, constantly strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks, contributing to building an increasingly civilized and beautiful homeland; together with the whole country firmly on the path of innovation, rapid and sustainable development, bringing the Fatherland firmly into the new era.
After the visiting ceremony, the delegates entered the opening ceremony of the first Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 at the Provincial Center for Culture - Arts.
