On the afternoon of October 2, at the An Giang Provincial Cultural - Arts Center, the ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the "An Giang Provincial Economic - Social Achievements Exhibition for the period 2021 - 2025; development orientation for the 2025 - 2030 term" took place.
The An Giang Province Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition is an extremely important event, not only to look back on the past, but also to affirm the aspiration to rise up, opening a new promising future for the homeland of An Giang.
During the past term, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the supervision of the People's Council, the strong direction of the Provincial People's Committee, and the support and contribution of the business community and people in the province, An Giang has had strong development steps. The economic, cultural and social fields have all achieved many important results. The appearance of rural and urban areas is increasingly improving; people's lives are increasingly improved; security and defense are maintained; the great national unity bloc continues to be consolidated.
In particular, An Giang is affirming its position as one of the dynamic localities in the Mekong Delta region, with the strengths of agriculture, trade, tourism, and gradually rising in innovation, application of science - technology and digital transformation.
The exhibition is designed with two main spaces: Exhibition area for the period 2021 - 2025 with the theme "An Giang - A vision, A will, A victorious faith"; with an area of 500 m2, 30 units participating in introducing export products, OCOP products, tourism products of the province such as: pearls, seafood, rice, tourist attractions, ...
The exhibition area for the period 2026 - 2030 with the theme "Developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation"; with the participation of 9 units in the province to introduce technology, science, innovation products, especially the introduction of the APEC 2027 program in Phu Quoc.
Through images of achievements, expected projects in the future, and science and technology products applied in the new situation. Thereby, viewers can visualize an overall picture of the recent development journey, while clearly feeling the belief, will and determination to make a breakthrough in the coming period.
Today's exhibition is not only a practical activity to welcome the Provincial Party Congress but also an opportunity for the business community to promote their brands, connect and cooperate, and expand the market.
