On February 25, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and congratulated Hospital 19-8 (Ministry of Public Security) and Hospital E (Ministry of Health), on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).
Colonel Hoang Thanh Tuyen - Director of Hospital 19-8 said that the hospital has a scale of more than 700 beds with 41 departments/departments, centers, nearly 1,000 officers, soldiers, and workers.
After more than half a century of construction and development, up to now, Hospital 19-8 has a team of medical staff with strong expertise, including many good, experienced and enthusiastic doctors.
Dr. Nguyen Cong Huu - Director of E Hospital - said that in recent years, the hospital has received attention from the Party, the State and the Ministry of Health, creating conditions for investment in facilities, professional equipment, technology, training and scientific research.
Many new departments, rooms and centers have been established. The medical team of E Hospital has mastered many advanced techniques of cardiovascular surgery and intervention, cranial nerve surgery, orthopedic trauma, and gastrointestinal endoscopy.
To date, E Hospital has developed with a scale of more than 1,000 beds (including the Cardiovascular Center and 62 functional departments) on an area of 41,000m2.
Congratulating the doctors, officers, and workers of the two hospitals on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia believes that the two hospitals will continue to have new steps in development, meeting the needs of protecting and caring for the health of officers and people.
Emphasizing that the country is preparing, consolidating foundational factors, creating a premise, motivation, and resources for the new development era, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia suggested that the two hospitals continue to innovate thinking, content, and methods of operation, especially hospital management methods, to comprehensively improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, health management, and care.
The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department noted that the two hospitals need to focus on the grassroots, implementing the motto "taking the patient as the center".
Focus on building a team of cadres, doctors, and nurses with strong political will, good at medicine, excellent at medicine, and rich in medical ethics.
As frontline hospitals, the two hospitals need to pay attention to sending a team of highly qualified doctors to help lower-level units in medical examination and treatment.
At the same time, expand international cooperation, promote research on the application of advanced science, technology and technology, especially innovation and digital transformation in medical examination and treatment, diagnosis and treatment records management.
