The Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee decided to end the activities of the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation, transfer the functions and tasks to the Provincial People's Council Party Committee. End the activities of the Party Delegation of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, transfer the functions and tasks to the grassroots Party Cell of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. End the activities of the Party Delegation of the Provincial Vietnam Women's Union, transfer the functions and tasks to the Provincial Vietnam Women's Union Party Cell. End the activities of the Provincial Federation of Labor Party Delegation, transfer functions and tasks to the Provincial Federation of Labor's grassroots Party Committee. End the activities of the Party Delegation of the Provincial Vietnam Veterans Association, transfer functions and tasks to the Provincial Vietnam Veterans Association's grassroots Party Cell. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to establish Party Committees of provincial Party agencies directly under the Provincial Party Committee, including 20 grassroots Party organizations and 545 Party members; appointed Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committees of provincial Party agencies.
Establish the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Committee, including 53 grassroots Party organizations and 6,066 Party members. Appointed Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - to hold the position of Acting Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Le Quoc Phong requested the Party Committees of the Provincial Party agencies and the Provincial People's Committee to quickly focus on advising the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the operating regulations of the two Party Committees; continue to advise on perfecting the organizational apparatus; review, direct and lead the organization of Party Congresses under the Party Committees at all levels. At the same time, I hope that the comrades who have just been assigned new tasks will quickly get to work to disseminate the Party members in the unit to promote the spirit of solidarity, work experience, intelligence, and capacity, contributing to improving the quality of activities of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party agencies and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee in the coming time.
