According to Decision No. 1866/QD-TU dated February 19, 2025 of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee was established as a party organization directly under the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee and is the direct superior party committee of the affiliated grassroots party organization; under the direct and regular leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; has the function of leading and directing the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the People's Committee and the Party committees and affiliated party organizations according to the provisions of the Party Charter and the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
The Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee includes grassroots party organizations in specialized agencies, public service units under the Provincial People's Committee, and a number of state-owned enterprises, central agencies and units located in the locality.
The functions, tasks, organizational structure, and operating conditions of the Party Committee are according to Regulation No. 260-QD/TW, dated January 24, 2025 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.
The Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Party committees at all levels and relevant agencies, according to their functions and tasks, coordinate in transferring and receiving Party organizations, Party members, arranging and assigning cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, working headquarters, assets, finances, records, documents, seals and other issues according to regulations.
On the same day, the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 1867/QD-TU, appointing the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
According to the decision, the Provincial People's Committee Party Executive Committee was appointed to consist of 19 people; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee consisted of 8 people. The Party Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee is Mr. Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee (in-charge) are Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Anh - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Mr. Nguyen Thuy Trong - Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association.
The above decisions take effect from the date of signing.
