On December 5, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee coordinated with the Can Tho City Party Committee to open the Southern Regional Scientific Seminar (phase 3) with the theme: "Based and comprehensive innovation of political theory programs and textbooks, meeting the requirements of improving the quality and efficiency of education in the new situation".

Attending and co-chairing the seminar were Mr. Ngo Dong Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Tran Van Huyen - Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tan - Vice Principal of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Speaking at the opening of the seminar, Mr. Ngo Dong Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission - emphasized that our Party always identifies political theory education (PET) as one of the top important tasks.
Mr. Hai hopes that the seminar will ensure quality, go straight to the problem, and reflect reality. Thereby, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee can grasp the most complete and in-depth information, contributing to providing appropriate and practical advice and proposals to the Secretariat to make decisions and policies to meet development requirements in the new period.
The Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department hopes that leaders, managers, scientists and teachers will participate responsibly, enthusiastically, substantially, not theoretically, not abstaurately, ... to contribute to pointing out the results and shortcomings. At the same time, recommend and propose solutions to innovate the content and programs of LLCT education subjects in the coming time.

Mr. Tran Van Huyen - Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee - affirmed that the seminar is an important scientific forum for localities in the region to exchange practical experiences, share solutions to innovate content, methods and learning materials. Thereby, contributing scientific basis for the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee to continue to complete the program framework and LLCT curriculum system shared nationwide, meeting development requirements in the new context.

The seminar attracted the participation of nearly 300 delegates, including leaders.
Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; departments, branches, sectors; school leaders, managers, scientists, lecturers in Can Tho City and An Giang, Ca Mau, and Vinh Long provinces.
Delegates discussed, exchanged experiences, shared good models and proposed many solutions and recommendations to improve the quality of LLCT education in the context of digital transformation and international integration.
