On July 4, the Party Committee of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions held a conference to announce and present the Decision to appoint the Party Secretary of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions for the 2025-2030 term.
At the conference, representatives of the leaders of the Organizing Committee of the Hanoi People's Committee announced Decision No. 287-QD/DU of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi People's Committee appointing Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong - Director of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, to join the Executive Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, term 2025-2030.
Presenting the decision and presenting flowers to congratulate Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Hanoi People's Committee Doan Trung Tuan highly appreciated Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong as a well-trained cadre who has held many positions in the city.
Mr. Doan Trung Tuan said that on June 18, the Party Committee of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions held the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Up to now, the Department's Party Committee has improved personnel to make leadership and direction more effective.
Mr. Doan Trung Tuan suggested that in the coming time, Party Secretary of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Nguyen Sy Truong continue to promote the sense of responsibility, set an example for cadres and party members to continue to be the core with the Party Committee and the Department's Board of Directors to complete assigned tasks.
"The arrangement of the city's administrative units with 126 communes and wards requires new requirements related to the two areas of ethnicity and religion. Therefore, the Department needs to focus on reviewing the planning work related to this content.
At the same time, promote the application of information technology and digital transformation to improve management efficiency in the two fields of ethnicity and religion", Mr. Doan Trung Tuan emphasized.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong said that in the recent revolution of streamlining the apparatus, the whole country has 27/34 provinces and cities with Departments of Ethnic Minorities and Religions. The latest circular of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions stipulates 22 main tasks of the Department related to ethnic and religious work.
With many functions and tasks, each cadre and civil servant of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions needs to promote the spirit of exemplary, united, and creative to be able to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
In particular, as Party Committee Secretary, I will work with the Party Committee and the Department's Board of Directors to continue to strive and be determined to complete the tasks in the coming time," said Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong.
