On the morning of June 23, Central Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh chaired a conference to announce the decisions of the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee on personnel work.
At the conference, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Lieu announced the decisions of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh on personnel work.
Accordingly, Mr. Le Thanh Nam, born in 1971, Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Committee, was appointed to the position of Chief of Office of the Hanoi People's Committee, with a term of appointment of 5 years.
Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong, born in 1977, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, was appointed to the position of Director of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
Mr. Dang Xuan Huan, born in 1980, Head of Project Management Department 2, Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Mr. Duong Duc Hien, born in 1983, Head of the Finance - Planning Department, Phuc Tho District People's Committee, was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Regarding the new Chief of Office of the City People's Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh emphasized that in the context that the whole country as well as the city are focusing on completing the work of arranging and organizing the two-level local government apparatus to come into operation from July 1, the workload is very large.
Therefore, the new Chief of the City People's Committee Office needs to immediately get to work to work with authorities at all levels to fulfill this responsibility.
Previously, on the morning of June 13, the 16th Hanoi People's Council, term 2021-2026, held its 23rd session (special session) to implement important contents under its authority.
At the session, 100% of the delegates present approved the Resolution to elect Mr. Truong Viet Dung, member of the City Party Committee, Chief of Office of the Hanoi People's Committee; delegate of the Hanoi People's Council, term XVI, 2021-2026, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, term 2021-2026.
