Proportive salaries help teachers feel secure living with their profession, without having to teach extra classes everywhere

The Law on Teachers - the first specialized law fully regulating the legal position, rights, obligations and policies for the teaching staff has been officially approved by the 15th National Assembly. The highlight is that from January 1, 2026, teachers will be ranked with the highest salary in the administrative career salary scale system, to increase income, attract talented people and keep teachers attached to the profession.
Many teachers expressed their joy at this information, saying that increasing salaries not only helps improve their lives but also creates conditions for teachers to wholeheartedly devote themselves to their profession, reducing the widespread situation of extra teaching. Teachers in localities such as Quang Ninh and Son La assess this as a "dream come true" after many years of waiting.
In addition to salary policy, the Law on Teachers and the Draft Decree also provide many mechanisms to support the development of the teaching staff such as policies for disadvantaged areas, standardizing occupations, attracting high-quality human resources, and the mechanism to protect the honor and dignity of teachers, thereby contributing to building a safe and civilized educational environment.
