On February 12, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee announced Decision No. 8167 on the establishment of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
According to the decision, the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee was established on the basis of merging the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee decided to assign Mr. Nguyen Doan Toan (born in 1971) - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Hanoi City Party Committee - to hold the position of Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Hanoi City Party Committee from March 1, 2025.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also decided to assign tasks to 6 Deputy Heads of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, including: Mr. Dao Xuan Dung, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Son, Mr. Nguyen Huy Cuong, Mr. Vu Ha, Mr. Dinh Van Khoa, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue.
At the conference, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai requested the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee to immediately get to work and promptly report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to issue regulations on functions, tasks, and organizational structure in accordance with the Central Committee's instructions.
At the same time, issue working regulations, arrange and stabilize the organization, ensuring no delays or interruptions in directing the implementation of the 2025 work plan and program.
