At the 29th session on February 20, the People's Council of Hai Duong province passed a resolution to dismiss 5 directors of departments that were merged due to job transfer and job changes, including Director of the Department of Transport Nguyen Van Doan, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Bui Thanh Tung, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment Le Anh Dung, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Pham Van Manh, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Duong Van Xuyen.
After the dismissal, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council elected Nguyen Ngoc Sam as an additional member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 17th term, 2021 - 2026.
At the session, the Provincial People's Council reviewed and decided on a number of urgent contents to serve the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus such as the arrangement of the apparatus of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; support policies for cadres, civil servants, and public employees who retire early and quit their jobs in the implementation of the arrangement of the apparatus; adjusting the payroll of civil servants, the number of people working in administrative agencies and public service units under the province.
In addition, the session also reviewed and decided on a number of policies and strategies to support agricultural production due to natural disasters and epidemics; policies to support housing funding for meritorious households, poor and near-poor households in the province and a number of other specific policies to promptly remove difficulties, continue to improve socio-economic infrastructure, and promote resources to successfully achieve the goals set by the 17th Provincial Party Congress.
Regarding the resolutions passed by the session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Van Hieu proposed to resolutely implement the 2025 Public Investment Plan to complete the 5-year medium-term Public Investment Plan 2021 - 2025. Highly focus on the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses, to be completed in June 2025.
2025 is the final year of implementing the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025, the year of a breakthrough, reaching the finish line of implementing the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, the year of organizing Party Congresses at all levels and organizing the organizational arrangement in the entire political system. The province has built a scenario for the growth of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2025 to increase by 12%.
