This is a thematic session, where delegates discuss and decide on a number of contents on personnel work under the authority of the People's Council of Quang Ninh province.
The session is scheduled to take place at around 10:30 a.m. on September 22.
Previously, on September 6, 2025, Mr. Pham Duc An - former Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province - was transferred and appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee to introduce and elect the Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee.
Also related to the personnel work of Quang Ninh, on September 11, 2025, at the 30th session (regular session in mid-2025), the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, carried out the procedure for dismissing the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, term XIV, 2021 - 2026 for Ms. Vi Ngoc Bich - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - due to being transferred to other work; elected to supplement the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; elected to supplement the Provincial People's Committee Committee Committee member for the 2021-2026 term for Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh - Director of the Department of Home Affairs.
According to the plan, the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, is scheduled to take place from September 25-27, 2025.
With the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress with the theme: "Under the glorious flag of the Party, join hands, be unanimous, and be determined to successfully achieve development goals by 2030, confidently, steadfastly, and proactively progress in the era of national growth, building Quang Ninh to be rich, civilized, modern, and happy, soon becoming a centrally-run city".
The Congress will focus on summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025; determining the direction, goals, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; reviewing the activities of the 15th Provincial Party Committee; discussing the development of the Resolution and Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress; discussing and contributing opinions to documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; electing the Provincial Party Committee; electing the Delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress...
