On May 12, the Ministry of National Defense organized a Conference on the application and development of science and technology (S&T), innovation (INOV), digital transformation (CDS), administrative reform (CCHC) in education and training at military academies and schools in a direct combined online form with 40 bridge points throughout the army.
The video clip report at the conference, built by the Military Training - School Department (General Staff), stated that in recent years, under the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and Party committees and commanders at all levels; the coordination and assistance of agencies, units, and schools, the Army has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the resolutions and plans of the Central Government, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on breakthroughs in education, training, science and technology, innovation and modern technology;
Training classes and fostering knowledge of information technology and CĐS are widely organized; Internet infrastructure, server rooms, simulation equipment, and software systems serving management, administration, and training are effectively deployed at schools.

In addition, based on the set of criteria for building Smart Army schools, many schools have built a digital ecosystem of software to serve the management of full-time training; the team of doctoral degree teachers with in-depth knowledge of science and technology accounts for an increasing proportion; students use smart devices proficiently, actively participate in scientific research, and actively self-study and research.
At the conference, delegates focused on clarifying the achieved results; pointing out inadequacies and difficulties, and proposing solutions to improve the quality of application, development of S&T, innovation, digital transformation, and administrative reform in education and training.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense - acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of schools and units, functional agencies in applying S&T, Innovation, DS, CCHC, contributing to improving the quality of education and training.
Emphasizing that the human factor is the most important in the process of innovation, digital transformation, science and technology, and is the foundation for implementing tasks, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien requested units and functional agencies to continue to support schools in implementing solutions to ensure information security and data security;
Thereby reviewing and improving network speed to ensure technological interoperability between agencies and units in schools; between schools and the entire army.
For military schools, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien noted that it is necessary to continue to review, supplement, and concretize the Resolutions, plans and guidelines of superiors on breakthroughs in education and training development, development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and administrative reform. Coordinate the development and deployment of software to serve training management; develop plans and roadmaps to bring all school activities to a digital environment.
