The first Spring Fair in 2026 officially opened at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi) this morning, February 2, 2026.
Speaking to direct at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the first Spring Fair in 2026 is a promising "starting step" to explode the domestic consumer market, a "driving force" to ignite the spirit of enthusiastic labor, production and business, and a strategic "lever" to initiate breakthrough development right from the beginning of 2026.
Inheriting and promoting the "6 most points" of the first Autumn Fair in 2025, the Prime Minister assessed that this Spring Fair continues to create and position unique values.
The fair of identity and aspiration to rise up, is a magical intersection between traditional culture and contemporary creativity; a place that gathers many programs, cultural spaces, cuisine, and unique experiences to serve the people to enjoy spring and welcome Tet.
The fair is oriented towards the people and for a community that enjoys high-quality products, synthesizing the essence of goods according to the "6 most" criteria: Most quintessential, most quality, most abundant, safest, most modern and most preferential. It is a place to spread and strongly promote the pride of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and "declare war" directly with poor quality goods of unknown origin.
The fair connects trade bridges, is a forum for businesses to find partners, markets, expand cooperation, and invest in business" - the Prime Minister assessed.
With outstanding core values, to gradually build and affirm the brand of the annual Spring Fair as a reliable "destination", a reputable "address" for all consumers for Vietnamese products and goods, the Prime Minister set out "3 big expectations" for the Spring Fair.
First, a prosperous rendezvous reaching international level. The fair must become a modern commercial trading floor, integrating digital technology to enhance people's shopping experiences, supporting Vietnamese businesses to connect with customers and international markets.
Second, a place to breathe life into Vietnamese products; promote and affirm the value of Vietnamese brands. The fair must be a place to reflect the economic level, production capacity, commercial value, and services of the nation and "wing" the Vietnamese brand to fly high and far into the world.
Third, opening up a new breath of life for the country's economy, trade, and services, strengthening consumer confidence and creating strong momentum to promote double-digit economic growth right from the beginning of the year.

To make the first Spring Fair truly become a national consumer festival, where the quintessence of "Vietnamese goods - Vietnamese identity - Vietnamese intelligence" converges, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to ensure all the best conditions for the Fair to be successfully held. Consider this Fair as a strategic "stepping stone" to standardize the national fair model according to international standards.
Ministries, branches, agencies, units, and localities proactively innovate thinking from "displaying goods" to "promoting values". Promote the application of digital technology in connecting supply and demand, promoting regional specialties, OCOP products... bringing Vietnamese brands closer to international friends.
Hanoi City People's Committee focuses highly on ensuring security, safety, environmental sanitation, convenient and thoughtful services, so that every citizen when coming to the Fair can experience shopping and enjoy a peaceful and civilized Tet atmosphere.
