On February 22, on the occasion of attending a meeting between the three heads of the three Parties of Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos in Ho Chi Minh City, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a working meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone to disseminate the contents of the agreement in the conclusion of the meeting between the three heads of the three Parties.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh reviewed the results achieved in the implementation of the conclusions of the Vietnam - Laos, Vietnam - Cambodia Summit, between Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia and the visits of senior leaders of the three countries in recent times; agreed to assess that the implementation of assigned tasks has basically been well achieved.
The three Prime Ministers expressed their delight that cooperation between the three countries has always been promoted by senior leaders, ministries, branches and localities of the three countries are making strong progress, practically contributing to consolidating and fostering the increasingly developing cooperation between the three countries. The leaders emphasized the strategic importance of the close friendship, solidarity and mutual trust between the three countries, and agreed to continue to increase exchanges and training of young people and young leaders, and promote extensive propaganda to all classes of people in the three countries, especially the younger generation, about the meaning and historical value of the cooperative relationship between the three countries.

The three Prime Ministers affirmed that they will continue to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the three countries in ensuring national security, building and developing the country; regularly maintain high-level meetings and contacts on all channels, increase cooperation between localities, especially provinces with common borders and people-to-people exchanges; effectively implement cooperation mechanisms and agreements, enhance information sharing, viewpoints and cooperation between ministries and branches.
The leaders agreed to continue to strengthen security and defense cooperation, closely coordinate border security protection, prevent cross-border crimes such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, money laundering; uphold the principle of not allowing any individual or force to use the territory of one country to harm the security of another to join hands in building a peaceful, friendly, stable and developing border.
The three Prime Ministers also agreed to continue to have policies and measures to facilitate and encourage more trade and investment, focusing on border trade and promoting the inland border gate system between the three countries; enhancing traffic infrastructure connectivity and economic linkages of the three countries.
The three Prime Ministers welcomed and agreed to establish a cooperation mechanism for the three Ministers of Culture and Tourism to unify the tourism cooperation plan between the three countries, implementing the tourism model "One journey, three destinations". The leaders also discussed regional issues of mutual concern; agreed to coordinate to maintain solidarity and stance, and ASEAN's central role in regional issues; as well as promote Mekong sub-regional cooperation.
