On June 29, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 100/CD-TTg on the fire in Ao village, Minh Hai commune, Van Lam district, Hung Yen province.
The Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Hung Yen province to direct competent agencies to organize thoughtful visits, promptly encourage, support materially and spiritually, and create conditions to soon stabilize the lives of the victims' families.
The dispatch clearly stated that at around 1:45 p.m. on June 28, a fire broke out at a scrap yard in Ao village, Minh Hai commune, Van Lam district, Hung Yen province, killing 4 people, injuring 3 people, and 1 victim whose whereabouts have not been determined.
On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister sent his condolences to the relatives and families of the victims.
The Prime Minister also requested the People's Committee of Hung Yen province to direct competent agencies to coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to organize thoughtful visits, promptly encourage, provide material and spiritual support, and create conditions to soon stabilize the lives of the victims' families.
Closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to urgently investigate the cause of the fire and strictly handle violations (if any) according to the provisions of law.
For the Ministry of Health, the Prime Minister directed medical examination and treatment facilities and relevant authorities to create the best conditions to treat the injured in the fire, identifying the unknown victim.
The Minister of Public Security and Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities continue to strictly implement the Prime Minister's instructions on fire prevention and fighting.
Strengthen propaganda, fostering knowledge and skills in fire prevention, fighting, rescue, combined with inspection and guidance on fire and explosion safety conditions for people and facilities at high risk of fire and explosion, minimizing the consequences and damage caused by fire and explosion in the area, especially during the current hot season.
