Yen Bai mountainous district has new People's Council Chairman

On the afternoon of October 8, the People's Council of Yen Binh district (Yen Bai) held a meeting to conduct personnel work.

At the meeting, Yen Binh District People's Council elected Mr. Nguyen Le Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Council, term XXI, 2021-2026.

In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman of the People's Council thanked the delegates for their trust and promised to work with the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the District People's Council to strictly implement the provisions of the Constitution and laws on the organization and operation of the District People's Council.

At the same time, continue to strive, perform well the tasks, manage, operate, and successfully implement the socio-economic development goals of the district in 2024 and the following years.

Also during the session, the District People's Council approved the proposal to dismiss the position of Chairman of the District People's Council, term XXI, term 2021 - 2026 and to remove from the duties of District People's Council delegate Mr. An Hoang Linh - former Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, who was transferred and appointed to the position of Chief of Office of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee.
