On April 20, the Ministry of Education and Training (Education and Training), Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the Vietnam Trade and Industry Federation (VCCI) to organize the opening of the Seventh National Entrepreneur Day of students in Ho Chi Minh City.
Attending the ceremony were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son; Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc and leaders of central and local ministries and branches.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that after 7 times of organization, the National Startup Festival for students has constantly changed and matured. The organization is also more scientific and professional with more students participating.
According to the Prime Minister, Startup Festival is not only an annual event but also a place to express the dreams and aspirations of students to start a business. It is a gathering place for aspirational young talents, a place to connect education, businesses and policies to spread together, creating a sustainable startup ecosystem.

The Prime Minister also said that creating an innovative startup ecosystem is a long-term strategy, requiring fundamental solutions, comprehensive strategies, not perfect but not hasty.
Therefore, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities, according to their functions and tasks, to continue to improve mechanisms and policies, especially in finance on intellectual property... Create conditions and support HSSV to develop ideas and bring those products to the market.
At the same time, it is necessary to develop funds to support student startups using socialized sources; Build idea trading floors and a network of startup consultants in schools and localities.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the Ministry of Education and Training should develop centers to support students in starting businesses, creative spaces, incubation gardens, speed up start-ups in schools, and include startups in regular teaching; Continue to develop a project to support students in starting businesses in the new period, ensuring practicality and quality.
For higher education institutions, vocational education, and general education, it is necessary to effectively implement policies to support startups and innovation; Develop modern laboratories, support product research and testing, encourage lecturers and students to participate in applied scientific research.
In particular, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that "three houses", including: State - School - Business House must strengthen connectivity. In particular, businesses should actively place orders, invest and accompany students, support practice, internship and commercialization of ideas; work with schools to inspire, invest and lead the younger generation.
