At the Conference, the Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee Bui Minh Chau affirmed that the consolidation of three provinces of Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho and Hoa Binh into Phu Tho province is the right policy and an important preparation step of the Party Central Committee in the context of the country entering the new era, the development era of the nation.

At the Conference, the leaders of the three provinces heard the draft Joint Resolution of the Standing Committee of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the consolidation of the province and the assisting team of the Steering Committee for consolidation.
