On the morning of October 3, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc attended and directed the 1st Congress of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
The congress was attended by Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, Former Standing Member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong; Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and leaders of central and local departments, ministries and branches.
The Congress also honored to welcome Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, revolutionary veterans, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, and 438 official delegates, representing more than 182,000 Party members in the entire Party Committee.
Speaking at the opening of the congress, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee emphasized: The first Congress of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee took place at a time when the country had historic changes with the foundation, potential, position, and international prestige of Vietnam that have never been as it is today after 80 years of national independence, 50 years of national reunification, and 40 years of renovation.
Many policies and guidelines for national innovation and development in the draft Documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; many policies and decisions of the Central Committee recently issued are revolutionary, strategic breakthroughs, creating a solid foundation for the successful implementation of the two 100-year goals.
"Hung Yen province is facing a historic opportunity with its strength and power, the combined strength has been significantly enhanced, especially the merger of Hung Yen province and Thai Binh province has expanded space, space, resources and created new development momentum with greater scale and potential, a strategic turning point, creating outstanding resonance value to make Hung Yen province develop faster and more sustainably" - Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized.
Also at the opening session, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, on behalf of the Presidium, launched a call for support for people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10.
Previously, on October 2, the Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress held a special session to elect the Presidium, the Secretariat and the Delegation of the Congress's Delegation status Inspection Committee.
As a result, 100% of delegates voted unanimously to include the Presidium of 22 comrades, the Secretariat of the Congress of 3 comrades, and the Inspection Committee of the Congress of 11 comrades.
The delegates also approved the rules and regulations of the Congress. At the same time, report on the synthesis of comments from the Congresses of Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
