On August 5, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize the Closing and Awarding Ceremony "Concurrent to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day, 20 years of the National Day for National Security Protection" and open the Exhibition "Vietnam People's Public Security - 80 years for peace in life".
The program is part of a series of events on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force (CAND) (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th Anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
At the "80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day, 20th anniversary of the National Security Protection Festival" Award Ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To - Deputy Minister of Public Security - acknowledged that the contest attracted more than 1.5 million entries; dozens of online multiple-choice tests with nearly 100,000 participants.
Through the contest, many solutions, passionate initiatives, and suggestions have been contributed to building and promoting the movement "All people protect national security", building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements of the task of ensuring security and order in the new situation.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To assessed that many works have good stories, beautiful and touching images of People's Public Security officers and soldiers in work, combat, participation in movements, social work and even in daily life shared through the entries, contributing to clearly depicting the people's deep attachment to the People's Public Security, building a beautiful image of the People's Public Security force, a peaceful support of the people.
Also on this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee to organize the Exhibition "Vietnam People's Public Security - 80 years for peace of life" as a practical activity to express gratitude and spread to the community the contributions and sacrifices of the People's Public Security force in the cause of revolution, building and defending the Fatherland.
In addition, through educational and experiential activities at the Exhibition, it aims to raise awareness of "respect for the law" for the community.
The exhibition contents are arranged in 3 main topics, combined with propaganda - education activities for the public, including: "H historical mark", "Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Police: Imprints of cooperation and development" and "Effective, effective, efficient People's Public Security - For peace in life".
The exhibition is open for visitors, exhibits and experiences from August 5 to August 12.
