On the afternoon of October 14, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee issued a press release to take disciplinary action against Party members who violated the Party's regulations. Accordingly, the Party expelled two Vice Chairmen of the Long Xuyen City People's Committee, Nguyen Bao Sinh - Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Dao Van Ngoc - Member of the City Party Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Bao Sinh was assigned to be directly responsible for directing and operating many important areas such as: Land, Land Use Planning, Public Land Management; Natural Resources and Environment and was Chairman of the Compensation Council for projects in the area of responsibility... but was irresponsible in performing assigned duties and tasks, loosened management, allowing subordinates to violate the law and policies of the State on resettlement to appropriate and profit, causing loss of State assets, many Party organizations, cadres, and Party members of the Long Xuyen City Party Committee violated Party regulations and State laws, were prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police, prosecuted, and ordered to arrest the accused for temporary detention, including Mr. Nguyen Bao Sinh.
According to the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Bao Sinh violated the law of the State, violated the Party's regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, regulations on the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and Party members. Mr. Nguyen Bao Sinh's violations caused very serious consequences, affected the State's management of the land sector, caused bad public opinion, angered cadres, Party members and people, and damaged the reputation of himself and the Party organization, agency and unit.
Mr. Dao Van Ngoc was assigned to directly direct and manage the following areas: Land, Land Use Planning, Public Land Management; Natural Resources and Environment; Chairman of the Compensation Council for projects in the assigned areas... but was irresponsible in performing his assigned duties and tasks, loosened management, allowing subordinates to violate the laws and policies of the State on resettlement to appropriate and profit, causing loss of State assets. Many Party organizations, cadres and Party members of the Long Xuyen City Party Committee violated Party regulations and State laws, and were prosecuted by the An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Agency, prosecuted, and issued arrest warrants for temporary detention, including Mr. Ngoc.

Mr. Dao Van Ngoc's violations caused very serious consequences, affected the State's management of the land sector, caused bad public opinion, angered cadres, Party members and the People, and damaged the reputation of himself and the Party organization, agency and unit.
Considering the content, nature, level, consequences and causes of the violation, based on the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party organizations and Party members, the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee decided to take disciplinary action by expelling Mr. Nguyen Bao Sinh and Mr. Dao Van Ngoc from the Party.
In this announcement, the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee also decided to discipline and expel Nguyen Thi Diem Thuy - District Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Military Party Cell Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of My Luong town, Cho Moi district (former Head of the Finance - Planning Division of Cho Moi district) and Nguyen Thi Bich Lieu - Party Committee Secretary, Military Party Cell Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan My commune, Cho Moi district.
