The Politburo and the Secretariat found that the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health for the 2021-2026 term (until February 2025) was irresponsible in leading and directing the Ministry of Health and a number of Party organizations and Party members to violate and have shortcomings in leadership, direction, law making, improvement and organization of the implementation of state management functions on food safety.
The Politburo and the Secretariat found that: Mr. Nguyen Duc Quyen, during his tenure as a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, violated Party regulations and State laws in signing a Decision on land allocation and lease with illegal land use fees.
Mr. Le Duc Giang, during his tenure as a member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, taking advantage of his position and authority while performing official duties.
Mr. Le Hong Son, during his tenure as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, violated Party regulations and State laws in illegally intervening in the investment policy decision on purchasing foreign language teaching and learning equipment of the People's Committees of districts and towns.
Mr. Ngo Cong Tuoc, during his tenure as a member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of U Minh Thuong District, Kien Giang Province, violated Party regulations and State laws in signing documents related to the implementation of the investment project to build the U Minh Thuong District Administrative Center in violation of legal regulations.
The Politburo decided to take disciplinary action against the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health for the 2021-2026 term; The Secretariat decided to take disciplinary action against the exclusion from the Party of Mr. Nguyen Duc Quyen, Le Duc Giang, Le Hong Son, Ngo Cong Tuoc.
13-month-old boy dies in Tay Ninh, 2 nurses are considered for disciplinary action
Regarding the case of a 13-month-old boy who died while being transferred from Tay Ninh General Hospital to Ho Chi Minh City, the Hospital's Board of Directors held an official meeting to inform and admitted errors in the treatment process.
Leaders of Tay Ninh General Hospital and the working delegation visited, expressed condolences and supported the treatment and after-sales expenses for the children's families.
