On the morning of April 29, in Cam Lam commune, the Truong Sa Museum project officially started construction, on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the Truong Sa archipelago (April 29, 1975 - April 29, 2026).
Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh and a delegation from the Central and local levels.
The Truong Sa Museum is identified as an important cultural institution of Khanh Hoa province and the whole country, serving research, collection, preservation and display.

The project also plays a role in propaganda and education about the sea and islands and the process of protecting the sovereignty of the Vietnamese people.
According to the plan, the museum is built on a land area of about 1.71ha. In which, the central building has an area of about 3,873m2, including 3 above-ground floors and 1 basement floor.

The overall architecture is designed with 3 branches stretching from the mainland towards Truong Sa - East Sea, creating a symbolic highlight of sea and island sovereignty.
The total investment of the project is nearly 300 billion VND, 100% sponsored by Vinhomes.
After completion expected in the first quarter of 2028, the project will be handed over to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee (or the designated unit) for management and operation according to regulations.
When put into operation, the Truong Sa Museum will connect with the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area, forming a complex of works of special significance about Truong Sa.
In parallel with the construction process, the collection of images, documents, materials and artifacts, as well as the development of exhibition and introduction plans are being implemented.
The museum is oriented to become a multi-functional, modern and unique cultural and educational institution, meeting the needs of serving the public. The exhibition space will include regular and thematic areas indoors and outdoors, combined with the application of technology and advanced technical equipment to maximize the value of documents and artifacts.
The Truong Sa Museum project will be built on a land area of 1.71ha, adjacent to the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area.
When completed, the Truong Sa Museum will connect with the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area (operating since 2017) built by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on an area of over 20,000m2 with a total investment of nearly 130 billion VND.
Initially, the entire amount of money for building the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area was supported by people, officials, workers, and laborers across the country through the Labor Golden Heart Fund from the Hoang Sa, Truong Sa Affection Program.
