The Southern Central Endocrinology Hospital (Tan Nhut commune, Ho Chi Minh City) is expected to become a specialized treatment center for endocrinology in the Southern region when it comes into operation.
According to the design, the project has a scale of 300 beds, daytime examination and treatment capacity from 800 - 1,000 visits. Total investment is about 1,000 billion VND, using government bond capital. The hospital is planned with 5 main functional areas, including: daytime examination and treatment area; technical - professional area; inpatient treatment area; logistics, supporting technical and general services area; administrative - management area.

The front examination area is built spaciously, creating a ventilated space, convenient for receiving patients, ready to serve when the hospital officially operates.
According to the initial plan, the project was expected to be completed after about 2 years of construction. However, during the implementation process, the project encountered many difficulties, especially problems in site clearance and investment procedures, causing the progress to be prolonged.

To date, the project has entered the final completion phase. The parking area within the campus is arranged separately, with a large area, meeting the needs of patients and their families when coming for examination and treatment.
Common living spaces such as rest areas have been arranged reasonably, combined with planting trees, creating a friendly landscape, towards a comfortable treatment environment for patients.

In the near future, when this medical facility goes into operation, Ho Chi Minh City will have another large-scale central-level hospital, specializing in treating metabolic disorders and diabetes. Thereby, not only meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of city residents but also being ready to receive, treat and take care of the health of people in neighboring provinces and cities.
