On May 29, 2025, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 56th meeting chaired by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc. At this Session, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) reviewed and concluded the following contents:
Considering the Report on the proposal to discipline party members who violated the Party Committee of localities and units: the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, Dong Nai, Hau Giang, the Central Inspection Committee found that:
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Education and Training during the time of holding the position of Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cua Lo Party Committee, Nghe An Province violated the Party's regulations and laws of the State in performing assigned duties and tasks; Violating the regulation of what party members must not do and responsible for setting an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the reputation of the Party organization, to the point of disciplinary enforcement.
Individuals: Tran Ngoc Thuan, former member of the Standing Committee of the Central Business Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; Vo Van Chanh, former Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province; Nguyen Van Tien, former Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang province has decreased in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, violating the Party's regulations, the State's laws in performing assigned duties and tasks in the prevention and anti -corruption; Violating the regulation of what party members must not do and responsible for setting an example, causing very serious consequences, adversely affecting the reputation of the Party organizations, local authorities and agencies and working units, to the point of discipline.
Considering the content, nature, extent, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to take disciplinary action against Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi and proposed that competent authorities consider and take disciplinary action against Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan, Vo Van Chanh, and Nguyen Van Tien.
The Central Inspection Commission requested the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to direct, review, and handle other relevant individuals.
Also at this session, the Central Inspection Commission discussed and gave opinions on the draft exemplary process for conducting inspections and supervision of advisory and supporting agencies at the Party Committee level; reviewed and resolved party discipline complaints in 5 cases and concluded a number of other important contents.
