Disciplinary action against Chairman and Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee
The Prime Minister issued decisions to discipline the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province.
The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1549/QD-TTg dated December 12, 2024 to discipline Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - in the form of a reprimand for violations and shortcomings in his work and for which he was subject to Party discipline.
The disciplinary period is calculated from the date of announcement of Decision No. 1796-QD/UBKTTW dated November 8, 2024 of the Central Inspection Commission.
The Prime Minister also issued Decision No. 1542/QD-TTg dated December 11, 2024 to discipline Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - by reprimand for violations and shortcomings in his work and the Central Inspection Commission has disciplined him.
Disciplinary action against Vice Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee
On December 10, the Government Office announced that Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh had just signed Decision No. 1520/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on disciplinary action against Mr. Tran Duc Quy - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province.
Accordingly, disciplinary action in the form of reprimand was taken against Mr. Tran Duc Quy - Vice Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee - due to violations and shortcomings in his work and Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee has taken disciplinary action against the Party.

Also related to the case of violating bidding regulations causing a loss of more than 20 billion VND in the medical equipment procurement project of Bac Lieu General Hospital, on July 11, the Investigation Police Agency, the Provincial Police Department issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Huynh Thanh Phong (58 years old, Head of the Planning and Finance Department, Provincial Department of Health) to investigate the act of violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences.
