On October 11, at the closing session, the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress announced the Politburo's decision to appoint delegates to attend the 14th National Party Congress.
Accordingly, the Politburo appointed 1 natural delegate, 45 official delegates and 4 alternate delegates. The delegate is of course Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie K'nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th Province of Lam Dong.
On behalf of the Lam Dong Provincial Delegation attending the 14th Congress, Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie K'nam affirmed that the 14th Congress is an important political event of the country, an important milestone in the Party's leadership process.
The Congress aims to set out guidelines, policies and development goals for the country in the new era, realizing the 100-year strategic goals under the leadership of the Party.
He also emphasized that after the National Congress, the Provincial Delegation will seriously fulfill its assigned responsibilities; promptly report the results, widely propagate the resolution and documents of the Congress to cadres, party members, and people.
At the same time, he advised the Provincial Party Committee to direct the implementation, and soon put the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress into practice.
For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Congress agreed on the goal: Building a clean and strong Party Committee; comprehensive development, taking stability as a foundation, taking the socio-economy as the center and the happiness of the people as the goal to strive for.
By 2030, Lam Dong strives to become a fairly developed province, one of the region's dynamic growth poles, demonstrating the aspiration to reach new heights in the new era of development.
The Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, term I, thoroughly grasps the spirit of "Three key points - Three publicity - One measure" according to the direction of General Secretary To Lam, while closely following the 6 key orientations set out by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh at the Congress.
The Congress set out 21 targets, 6 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs and 15 key projects.
In particular, the target of average gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth in the period of 2025 - 2030 is about 10 - 10.5%/year; GRDP per capita in 2030 is 6,700 - 7,500 USD; labor productivity increases by 6.5 - 7.5%/year; total social investment capital accounts for 35 - 40% of GRDP.
The province also sets a target of basically no poor households by 2030 (according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2026 - 2030); forest coverage rate of over 46.2%; 98% of production and business establishments meet environmental requirements.
Regarding Party building work, every year, over 90% of grassroots party organizations and party members are classified as having completed their tasks well or better; the rate of new party membership is 3 - 4% of the total number of party members in the province.
