On April 23, continuing the 44th session, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the draft Report on the synthesis of opinions and recommendations from voters and people sent to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Hoang Cong Thuy said that voters and people were happy, excited, and highly appreciated the Party and State for strongly directing the revolution of streamlining the apparatus.
Voters and people expressed their deep interest and consensus and high support for a number of major policies of the Party and State such as: Resolution of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; policy of tuition exemption; elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses and construction of 1 million social housing units.
Cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers highly appreciate the Party and State, and the Government's timely issuance of very suitable policies for those affected by the restructuring of the apparatus and staff streamlining.
The policy of prioritizing the arrangement of surplus facilities after the arrangement of the apparatus for the 3 fields of education, health, and community culture, received high consensus and support from voters and people.
The business community and the people are very happy and excited to receive the information that the Party and State have officially identified the private economy as the most important driving force of the economy.
In addition, voters and people highly appreciate and welcome the leaders of the Party and State, headed by General Secretary To Lam, to continue to promote the fight against corruption, waste and negativity.
However, the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that there are still some concerns about naming administrative units; concerns of some cadres, civil servants, and public employees when they have to move to work in new administrative units; and some concerns that if there is no specific solution, some capable cadres will resign due to having to go away from home.
At the same time, voters and people are concerned, worried, upset and strongly condemn the production and trading of counterfeit goods: fake milk, counterfeit medicine, poor quality food; fraud, false advertising on cyberspace; waste discharge causing environmental pollution...
Based on the opinions and recommendations of voters and people, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front recommends that state authorities fight resolutely, resolutely handle the problem of counterfeit and poor quality goods, end fraud, post false and distorted information on social networking sites, affect the honor and reputation of individuals and organizations.
Relevant ministries and branches urgently advise competent authorities to issue legal documents to institutionalize major policies of the Party and State such as: exempting tuition fees for students; studying and issuing policies to support lunch for students; policies to support cadres, civil servants and public employees who have to move their housing to work in new administrative centers; specific regulations on changing the purpose of using surplus facilities after the arrangement of agencies and units.
These are very correct policies that are in keeping with the people's hearts and need to be institutionalized soon so that the people can benefit.
