Vietnam Fatherland Front will accompany and support poor cancer patients

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) emphasized that the Front will accompany and support poor cancer patients to have more motivation to overcome the disease.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on the afternoon of January 25 (ie 26th of Tet), Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien and the Central working delegation visited and encouraged doctors and gave gifts to cancer patients being treated at K Hospital, Tan Trieu facility, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi.

Also attending were Ms. Dao Hong Lan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Health.

Directly visiting and giving gifts to patients being treated at the pediatrics department and the emergency resuscitation department of K Hospital, Tan Trieu facility, Mr. Do Van Chien sent his regards and New Year wishes to the patients being treated at the hospital and wished them peace of mind during their treatment so that they can quickly recover and return to their families.

Mr. Do Van Chien said that in order to share with those in difficult circumstances and ensure that everyone and every family has Tet, during the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized delegations to visit and give gifts to cancer patients in especially difficult circumstances being treated at 4 hospitals.

4 hospitals including: Central K Hospital, Nghe An Oncology Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, Can Tho City Oncology Hospital with 800 gifts.

“While normal people with cancer already face many difficulties, poor people with cancer are the ones with the most difficult circumstances.

In the near future, the Central Fund for the Poor will have new approaches to provide the most practical forms of support for cancer patients in difficult circumstances across the country," Mr. Do Van Chien shared.

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front affirmed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front, as the center of the great national unity bloc, within its scope and responsibility, will do its utmost to accompany, support and help poor cancer patients in difficult circumstances to gain more motivation to overcome the disease.

On the eve of the New Year of the Snake 2025, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien respectfully expressed his thanks and wished the team of doctors, nurses and medical staff across the country in general and K Hospital in particular a new year of good health, happy families, and success in completing assigned tasks.
