    Lam Dong - On the morning of February 18, the People's Council of Lam Dong province, term X, 2021-2026, held its 22nd session.

    This session passed 7 important resolutions, including the establishment of a number of new departments and branches.

    The Department of Home Affairs is merged from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs.

    The Department of Science and Technology will merge from the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Information and Communications.

    In which, the Department of Construction merged the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction. The Department of Finance will merge from the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance.

    The Department of Agriculture and Environment is merged from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

    The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions was established on the basis of the Ethnic Committee, receiving additional State management function of religion from the Department of Home Affairs.

    The session also approved the establishment of the Lam Dong Provincial Land Development Fund.

    Also at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council dismissed Mr. Pham S from the position of Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.
