On May 7, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued a press release on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in April 2025.
Accordingly, in 2024, Nghe An ranked 6th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide in the People's satisfaction Index for the services of State administrative agencies (SIPAS) - up 6 places compared to 2023. This is a clear demonstration of the government's continuous efforts in improving service quality, making processes transparent and promoting the application of digital technology.

Along with that, Nghe An's Administrative Reform Index (PAR Index) in 2024 ranked 27th/63, reflecting progress in organizing the apparatus and streamlining procedures. The province also maintained its position as 44/63 in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) - showing stability in the investment and economic management environment.
In order to improve management efficiency, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1171/QD-UBND dated April 25, 2025 announcing the results of the PAR Index in 2024 for provincial departments, branches, and sectors (before merger) and People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns.
In the field of administrative organization, the province has submitted to the provincial People's Council for promulgation Resolution No. 09/NQ-HDND dated April 28, 2025 on the policy of arranging communal administrative units. After the arrangement, the whole province had 130 administrative units at the commune level (including 119 communes and 11 wards). The relevant records and procedures have also been completed and submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Government in accordance with regulations.
In addition, Nghe An is resolutely implementing Project 06/CP of the Government, strongly promoting digital transformation according to the 2025 Plan and Action Plan No. 328-KH/TU dated April 24, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee, to realize Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on innovation and technology development.
The province also focuses on strengthening discipline and administrative discipline, promoting the sense of responsibility and improving the quality of work of cadres, civil servants and public employees - a key factor in building people's trust in the serving administration.
Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee affirmed: "People being more satisfied with the service of the government is the result of a process of administrative thinking innovation, strongly shifting from 'management' to 'service'. The province will continue to tighten discipline, promote personal responsibility, and use people's satisfaction as a measure of public service quality".
