On June 30, at the large hall of the old Binh Dinh Provincial Convention Center, a ceremony was held to announce resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging administrative units, establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and the Fatherland Front of provinces, communes, and wards.
Attending and directing the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
At the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Dong Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Head of the Working Group to assist in implementing Decision No. 284 of the Politburo - announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided to appoint the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, including 61 comrades (31 comrades of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, 28 comrades of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and 2 comrades transferred and appointed to the position of Provincial Police Director, Commander of the new Gia Lai Provincial Military Command).
The Politburo decided to appoint the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, consisting of 18 comrades (8 comrades, members of the Standing Committee of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, 8 comrades, members of the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee and 2 comrades transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the new Provincial Police, Commander of the new Gia Lai Provincial Military Command).
At the same time, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Dinh province was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee (new) for the 2020 - 2025 term.
Appointing 4 personnel to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee (new) for the 2020 - 2025 term, including:
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee: Mr. Rah Lan Chung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province (old) (to be appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Gia Lai province for the new term 2021 - 2026).
