Many Secretaries and Chairmen of districts in Ho Chi Minh City become new Ward and Commune Secretaries

HCMC - Many Secretaries and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and towns such as Districts 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, Binh Chanh, Cu Chi, Thu Duc City... have become Party Secretaries of new wards and communes.

On the morning of June 30, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to announce resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments related to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, the establishment of Party organizations, appointment of Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Commune-level Fatherland Front Committees according to the two-level government model.

A noteworthy point is that many district and county leaders of the city have been assigned to be Party Secretaries of new wards and communes.

In Thu Duc City, Mr. Hoang Tung - Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Committee was assigned to hold the position of Secretary of the An Khanh Ward Party Committee.

In District 1, Mr. Le Duc Thanh - Chairman of the District People's Committee took on the position of Secretary of the Tan Dinh Ward Party Committee.

In District 5, Ms. Huynh Ngoc Nu Phuong Hong - Secretary of District 5 Party Committee holds the position of Secretary of Cho Lon Ward Party Committee. Ms. Truong Minh Kieu - Chairman of District 5 People's Committee was appointed as Secretary of the An Dong Ward Party Committee.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thao - Chairman of District 6 People's Committee was assigned to be the Secretary of the Binh Tay Ward Party Committee.

In District 3, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Xuan - Secretary of the District Party Committee holds the position of Secretary of the Xuan Hoa Ward Party Committee; while Chairman of District 3 People's Committee Vo Van Duc is assigned the task of Secretary of the Nhieu Loc Ward Party Committee.

In District 7, Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan Anh - Secretary of the District Party Committee holds the position of Secretary of the Tan Hung Ward Party Committee.

At the district level, Mr. Nguyen Quyet Thang - Secretary of the Cu Chi District Party Committee was assigned to be the Secretary of the Tan An Hoi Commune Party Committee. Mr. Hua Quoc Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Chi district is the Secretary of the Cu Chi Commune Party Committee.

Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha - Secretary of the Binh Chanh District Party Committee will take on the role of Secretary of the Tan Vinh Loc Commune Party Committee,...

After merging the two provinces of Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City has 168 commune-level administrative units, including 113 wards, 54 communes and 1 special zone.
